Our next PCA-CWR Autocrosses are fast approaching!

We have a double header weekend booked for Saturday July 31st and Sunday August 1st, and we have Sunday August 8th booked as well!

The double header weekend will be our first ever 24 hour enduro team enduro race!

The format will be as follows:

- There shall be teams of 5 drivers formed.

- You may form your teams in advance, however: there must be at least 1 Porsche car on each team, and 1 novice driver on each team.
(novice = 3 or less autocrosses)

- If you arrive without a team, I will assign you to one.

- We shall run the autocross as normal, however, at the end of the day, the total run times of each team shall be added to a team total. This shall then be repeated on the Sunday. The total times for both days shall be all added together, and the team with the lowest total time shall be the champions.

- In the event that a team is short 1 or more drivers, the slowest driver's total runtime will be multiplied as needed for that team. (so make sure all your drivers show up!)
- In the event that there is a team missing a driver on Sunday, and we have an extra Driver without a team, that driver will be allocated to that team.

- Drivers may switch cars as they please, however no driver may take extra runs.

(rules are open to refinement between now and the actual event)

Pitt Meadows, BC Driving Centre (Ford & McTavish)

- No pre-registration required - But on-site registration closes at 9am sharp.

- Arrival 7:45-8:00am
- Tech Inspection 8:00am-9:00am
- Mandatory Driver's Meeting at 9:30am
- Wrap up by 4:30pm

- Please bring $40 cash per driver. (no cheques or plastic)
- Novices: Loaner helmets and instruction are available at no charge
- (If you have your own helmet, it must be Snell M2000 or SA2000 or newer.)

- We run regardless of rain or shine!
- Please check the weather before leaving, and come prepared!

- Make sure your car is free of any loose items within.
- Batteries must be BOLTED down securely.

Awaiting confirmation on the rest of my clan.

Will post back in a few days with info. The car switching is really cool because my family would like me to co-drive their cars so I may end up driving a Fiero, Camaro and a 914-6.

I had a lot of fun auto-x ing with you guys last time. Is this open to UBCSCC members still? If so I have a few questions:

- Are these seperate events? Can I attend one out of three only and still compete?
- $40 / day or $40 / weekend?
- No paxing again?

We've been away on vacation in china.

And, of Course Pat & Gary will participate.
We have no team, so anyone who wants us (or not) can have us.

I think Kenny and Brenda Boltz (the Red 2008 corvette coupe) are also planning on
attending.
We could probably make up a team of 4 Corvetters, and then if some
Porsche person wants to join up with us... that would work.
Oh... but that person would have to be a novice, considering all 4 of us are not.

So... do what you want with us... that'll make things easier.

Hey Rich,

Davey and I will be out testing the new suspension on Sunday as we leave for the US the week after. Since we wont be able to attend on Saturday, dont worry about putting us on a team or anything.

Change of plans, put me down for July 31st as well as Aug 8th.
Davis Quay in 06 Subaru Impreza for July 31st and Aug 8th
David Twitchett in 02 Subaru WRX Wagon for July 31st and Aug 1st (no change)

We will be in the same team (TEAM SUBERO) and will need at least a Porsche drive to join us (we might get a novice to join us soon)

Spending too much time on the track, it's time to mix it up a bit. I would like to come out on Saturday and possibly Sunday. Done about 5 autocross days this season but still a very Novice driver. No team though.

Hmm looks like there are a lot of couples... maybe we'll switch from teams of 5 to pairs? And instead of counting both days, we'll just do each day as a seperate event. We'll wait and see it it works out, but I think it'll be easier with pairs.

Just setup today's course. It's simple to run for novices, but challenging to find the right line for experienced drivers. It's definitely a 2nd gear course. It's starting to get extremely difficult to come up with new ideas!!!

Sunday's course will be a bit faster and more like a road course.

A RECORD 62 Drivers! Thank you everyone for coming out today! (so much for a low turnout and lots of runs.. boy did I call that one wrong!)

Sunday's course promises to be VERY fast. Hopefully the drizzle will be gone by morning.
